"Description on the Acer Iconia Tab A100 Phones Phones Phones"
Acer is back with a more compact, 7-inch Android Honeycomb also in (version 3.2): the Iconia Tab A100.
Thought to be more mobile than 10.1 inches mate, differs little from the A100 Iconia Tab A500.
Same processor Nvidia Tegra 2 1 GHz, one GB of RAM as the Iconia A100 also has a 5-megapixel sensor in the back with a LED flash to support and a front webcam of 1.3 megapixels.
Side connectors, Acer opts micro: micro-HDMI, micro-USB and microSD to expand the storage device. There is also a dock connector to add exclusive owner of the brand Acer. No USB 2.0 Host here, however.
Note greater fluidity in the current management of Android in this model. That probably from a lower resolution than the oldest (1024 x 600 pixels here, compared to 1280 x 800 pixels on the A500), the release of all the processor. Using Honeycomb is a petty pleasure without problems. Better!
For multimedia, Acer is still an effort to integrate the player's height and goes for Android. We advise that melt in the market to download a third party application like MoboPlayer, to ensure maximum compatibility.
The sound section, when not locked on the contrary, it's complicated, but has a decent power without being angry. The hull is now only without the power to do is increased too. But the sheets are generally clear.
Dolby Mobile is a gift and, as the Iconia A500, thanks for stopping, but we will do without him. In fact, activation of the module amplifies the defects.
Autonomy
Format seven inch large desires mobility, need energy ... This is a logical consequence that Acer has eclipsed its specifications in the design of the Iconia Tab A100. In the belly with a 1530 mAh battery only, the tablet is equipped with a minimum of several months of dating smartphones ...
Result, the Iconia Tab A100 never exceeds five hours of battery life. In the video, the tablet service after 4:25 expire if Wi-Fi is not the game. Count 20 minutes less active Wi-Fi. 4:45 For mixed use average ceiling.
